Casinos That Hold USDT: held, denominated and priced

The reason to gamble with a stablecoin is that a dollar is a dollar. But the casino may not agree, and there are three separate places where they can quietly disagree with you: how they treat the coin, the currency of your account opening, and the currency of the offers. Almost nobody gets all three right.

Look at each of the ten cashiers and signup forms. Not one of the ten is green in all three columns. Bets.io and 7Bit are the closest, and the row worth studying is Winz.io: it holds your Tether perfectly but opens your account in bitcoin anyway.

Why "does it accept USDT" is the wrong question

Every casino on this page accepts Tether. That tells you almost nothing about whether your balance will still be a dollar tomorrow.

One: is the coin held, or converted?

There are two ways: they can take your Tether and keep it as Tether, or take your Tether and turn it into their house balance in another currency. One means they are keeping custody of the coin that you chose. The other means you carry the price risk from the moment the deposit lands, which is the exact thing a stablecoin casino exists to avoid.

Two: what currency is the account in?

This is a separate setting. The account's currency dictates the header balance, game stakes, and bonuses. It is usually set at registration, and it often follows your connection while ignoring the coin you send.

Three: what are the offers priced in?

A site can hold your dollar, denominate your account in dollars, and offer a bonus in bitcoin. If the offer is priced in a coin that you do not hold, you cannot read what you are being given without going to check a price that moves.

These three do not line up

That is the whole point of the grid above. Winz.io holds natively and defaults to bitcoin. BC.Game does not state whether they will convert your account to the currency of your location. BitStarz converts on most rails and then prices its package in bitcoin. Each of them fails a different one.

What a stablecoin conversion actually costs

Here is why this matters with regards to money and not just principle. BitStarz is the one casino on the roster that converts, and it quotes the price on screen, so the cost can be measured.

What must be sent for a target amount to land at a casino charging a flat 5.54 plus 1.4% to convert
You want this to land You have to send The conversion costs As a share of the deposit
10 15.68 5.68 57%
25 30.89 5.89 24%
50 56.24 6.24 12%
100 106.94 6.94 6.9%
500 512.54 12.54 2.5%
1,000 1,019.54 19.54 2.0%

The 15.68 figure in the row is what will be displayed on the cashier's screen: this is the total that must arrive for 10 USDT to appear in the user's balance. The fee model that produces this figure, a flat 5.54 USDT plus 1.4% of the deposit amount, is calculated from eight quotes for the pair that is held constant at Tether on BNB Chain into Tether on Tron. Each of the other figures in the table is derived from that model. They are arithmetic, and only the eight quotes were measured.

A flat fee punishes small deposits

Most of that charge does not scale with the amount of USDT deposited. At 10 USDT, 57% of the user's deposit is required to facilitate the transaction, but at 1,000 USDT, only 2% of the deposit is required. The minimum amount for users to deposit into BitStarz is 10 USDT, which is precisely the amount that incurs the worst conversion rates.

It is charged twice over

There will be a spread on the way in and a spread on the way out in order to turn the balance back into something you can withdraw. Neither leg shows up on a fee table, which is why a casino can advertise zero deposit fees and still be the most expensive door on a roster.

One chain per coin escapes it

BitStarz does support stablecoins through Tether on the Tron blockchain and USD Coin on the Ethereum blockchain. If the player chooses either of these two blockchain networks to send funds to the casino, the sent funds will arrive at face value. However, should the player choose to use any other blockchain network, the conversion fee will be applied to the deposit. Nothing on the deposit screen flags which is which.

Nobody publishes this number

It pops up in the widget when you're already in the middle of your deposit and it vanishes when you close the widget. It's not present on any of the site's payments pages at BitStarz or any of the casinos that we've opened. That's the only reason why this particular table was built with these measurements.

Holding your coin and opening your account are two settings

This is the part that is almost missed entirely by any guide to stablecoin casinos.

Winz.io gives each cryptocurrency its own wallet. If you send Tether into the casino, it will assign you its own wallet for Tether. If you switch to another wallet, the balance in the header will be denominated in whatever cryptocurrency that you selected in the new wallet. On the custody question it is one of the best cashiers on the roster. Finally, the website defaults to bitcoin in the sign up form and in the bonuses offered to new players. So, if you arrive at the site with Tether in your wallet, you will be placed into an account that deals in bitcoin with a bonus that you cannot understand the value of.

BC.Game also does something different and more difficult to spot: the account's currency depends on the country from which you created your account. Our account displayed in Canadian dollars, and the bonus requirement also came in Canadian dollars. A Tether depositor would have to convert the bonus to another currency to see if they would qualify. The cashier also does not indicate whether any USDT would stay as USDT on their platform.

BetFury displayed the account in euros after login. That is a display and pricing decision, and it means every stake and every bonus threshold arrives in a currency you did not deposit.

All three of these are quick fixes in ten seconds. None of the three tells you it needs fixing.

The casinos that treat a dollar like a dollar

Six of the ten offer Tether support natively. These are the ones where the other two questions also come out well.

Bets.io, the only USDT default

USDT is pre-selected in the signup form for users. This is the only casino to do so on this list. Furthermore, the balance is native to a multi-wallet that allows adding currencies. Tournament prizes are priced in USDT. The only blemish is the welcome package for this casino offering up to 1 BTC when the rest of the site is in dollars.

7Bit Casino, the cleanest signup

This asks for your base currency before it asks for anything else, from seventeen options that include both USDT and USDC; the site re-prices according to your answer. All values are denominated in your selected currency. It is the only cashier on this roster where the currency question is answered before you can get it wrong.

Cloudbet, dollars end to end

Your balance is denominated in USDT, yet forty other currencies are accepted for deposits without changing your balance. The welcome package is quoted in dollars. Even the public withdrawal counter displays values in USDT. There is no point in the journey where you have to think about which unit you are looking at.

Mega Dice and Flush

Mega Dice puts the account in USDT without asking, and prices everything else in its rewards and missions ladder in USDT. Flush maintains ten separate coin balances to allow your stablecoin to remain where it is until you want to move it, and prices its bonus ladder in dollars. Both of them cap their headline offers in bitcoin, which is the recurring flaw across this market.

How to check all three before you deposit

Five checks in all, none of which cost more than a single signup and a look at the cashier to confirm pricing.

  1. 01

Read the currency field on the signup form

If there is such a thing, it should be set up prior to completing your registration. Not only does Bets.io set USDT as the chosen coin, but 7Bit also asks you directly and the others default to using either bitcoin or the fiat currency of the country from which you appear to be logging in.

  2. 02

Look for a list of wallets

A cashier showing separate per-coin wallets is holding coins natively, while one combined figure is the shape of a house balance. Winz.io and Flush both do this, with ten separate balances at Flush.

  3. 03

Open a USDT deposit and read the coin name back

The screen should name Tether and the network it uses. If it opens a conversion widget quoting you a rate, that is the answer to question one and the rate is the price of it.

  4. 04

Check the header after a small deposit

The balance should show the value of the coin that was sent to the wallet. If the balance is quoted in euros, bitcoin or the local currency, then the account currency needs changing, even though the coin underneath may be fine.

  5. 05

Find one bonus cap and see what unit it is in

This is the fastest tell on the third question. A site that prices its welcome in bitcoin is a site that has not really committed to the stablecoin players, whatever the cashier does.

Questions about USDT account currency

Do crypto casinos convert your USDT deposit? Toggle

Most of the ones we opened do not. Six of ten hold Tether natively, meaning the coin you send is the one you play with on the site. BitStarz is the exception. It only offers Tether for Tron transactions and USD Coin for Ethereum transactions; everything else is converted through its own exchange.

What does it cost when a casino converts your stablecoin? Toggle

At BitStarz, quotes taken across eight conversions came to a flat 5.54 plus 1.4%. Because most of that is a flat charge, it is heaviest on small deposits. For instance, a user has to send 15.68 to deposit 10 USDT into their BitStarz account, meaning that they are paying a 57% overhead on this transaction.

Which casino opens your account in USDT? Toggle

Bets.io is the only one of the ten with USDT pre-selected in the signup form. 7Bit asks for the selection of the base currency from seventeen options before re-pricing the site according to your selection. Mega Dice features USDT throughout the site without asking the user to select a currency at signup.

Can a casino hold USDT natively and still show a bitcoin balance? Toggle

Yes, and Winz.io does exactly that. Each coin is held in its own wallet allowing your Tether to remain Tether, while the signup form defaults to bitcoin and the welcome tiers are priced in bitcoin. Holding a coin and denominating an account are separate settings.

Why does my casino account show euros or my local currency? Toggle

Because the account currency is usually set at registration, and it often follows your connection while ignoring the cryptocurrency you deposit. BetFury, for example, priced its accounts in euros after login. BC.Game set the account currency from the signup location, which then priced the bonus qualification in that currency.

Does it matter if the casino converts my stablecoin? Toggle

It matters twice, because a conversion spread is charged on the way in and again on the way out, and it never appears on a fee table. It also removes the reason to use a stablecoin at all, since a converted balance carries price risk while you play.

Where the numbers behind this guide live

This page is the custody and denomination question. These carry the prices attached to it.

The deposit side

The USDT minimum deposit comparison prices all fifty-one Tether rails. Here, BitStarz's converted rails come in at 15.68 compared to the 10 native Tether floor. TRC-20 casinos covers the one chain BitStarz holds Tether on.

The second dollar, and the offers

USDC casinos runs the same questions for the Circle stablecoin, including the casinos that hold one stablecoin natively and convert the other. USDT casino bonuses is where the bitcoin-denominated caps get read in full.

I spent two years on the support side of a crypto payment processor, telling people their transfer had landed on a chain the receiver did not run. Every one of those losses traced back to a figure the business already knew and had never published. Casinos are the worst for it, so I open accounts and read the cashiers myself, one coin and one network at a time.
